We are extremely proud to announce our affiliation with WGTD, 91.1 public radio!!  You can listen to our shows in the Kenosha Area every Friday night from 6-7 pm, Saturday night from 7-8, and Sunday from 5-6 pm on their community radio station: HD-3.  You'll need an HD radio tuner to join in the fun!  Many thanks to WGTD and HD-3 program director Steve Brown.
 
We're on the road again!!  This time we're headed to Cambridge, WI on March 12 for an evening of comedies.  "A 1940's Radio Review" will be performed at 4 and 7 pm.  More details to come.
 
Our group recently had the pleasure of working on a Voices and Verses project: NOSFERATU, a gala event for Kenosha Community Media!  It was such a success we are participating in another multi-media event: Graffiti, The Artist Next Door, a live event staged in Kenosha and Prague, Czech Republic on December 18th.  More information to come.

RG Productions makes TV debut
 
Two original radio plays were performed in RG Productions first LIVE cable TV performance on Kenosha Community Media Channel 14 on August 3.  "Rebecca Diamond, Private Eye: Theft of Confidence," by producer/writer Nita Hunter and "The Cigarette Thief," by actor/writer Jan Michalski.  To listen to the performance click here.  Thank you KCM Channel 14!!

REBECCA DIAMOND, PRIVATE EYE: THEFT OF CONFIDENCE, written by RG Founder and Producer Nita Hunter has won 2nd Place in the National Audio Theater Festival's 2008 Scriptwriting Contest.  This is the second time the honor of an NATF award has been given to the Rebecca Diamond series and includes the possibility of production at this year's summer festival. www.natf.org

Old Time Radio LIVE

Our goal is to produce and perform authentic Old Time Radio classics as well as more contemporary originals such as the NATF Award Winning Rebecca Diamond, Private Eye.  We perform with LIVE music and sound effects in a variety of venues from haunted mansions such as Kemper Hall in Kenosha, to more modern public spaces such as the Kenosha Public Museum.  We also create successful events at theaters such as The Rhode Center for the Arts in Kenosha, PM&L in Antioch, IL, and Cutting Hall in Palatine, IL,.

Enjoy a day of readings and performances of the famous work of American poet, essayist, journalist, and caregiver Walt Whitman from 12-3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at the Civil War Museum. Considered to be one of the most influential poets in American literature, Whitman found much inspiration while visiting wounded soldiers in the Civil War hospitals of Washington, D.C. and published a book of war poems entitled, “Drum Taps.”




Drum Taps: The Poetry and Life of Walt Whitman activities include dramatic readings of some of Whitman's greatest poetry by Milwaukee poets Jeff Poniewaz and Antler starting at noon. At 1 p.m. Donald Kummings, Emeritus Professor of English, UW-Parkside will give a lecture on Whitman. Then at 2:30 p.m. visitors can enjoy a performance of the Columbia Workshop Radio Show, “American Trilogy: Walt Whitman” performed by RG Productions and the Choral Arts Society of Southeast Wisconsin. All activities are free and open to the public
